Life in Calgary appears to be improving these days, according to the City of Calgary's 2009 Citizen Satisfaction Survey.
The poll found 76 per cent of those asked rate their overall quality of life as good or very good, compared to 69 per cent in 2008.
Concern about crime has also dropped - 78 per cent polled said they feel safer in their neighbourhoods compared to 70 per cent last year.
The survey also found 83 per cent of Calgarians are pleased with the new recycling program.
Ipsos-Reid polled 1,000 people between August 31st and September 6th.
