Komisarek Out 3 Weeks

Ron Wilson just announced that Mike Komisarek will miss three weeks with a small tear in his quad muscle.
Carl Gunnarson has been recalled from the Marlies, but likely won't play Friday in Chicago.

Mike Komisarek remains out of practice and his status this weekend looks to be in doubt.
Komisarek left Tuesday's game against the Wild early in the first period with an apparent leg injury. He also suffered a charley horse in the previous game against the Wings.

It seems likely that the Leafs will call up an extra defenseman for their upcoming trip to Chicago, and indications are that it may be Carl Gunnarson.
Gunnarson was one of the final cuts at training camp this fall, and impressed the Leafs brass with his defensive sturdiness. The Swedish defenseman took in Thursday's practice as a spectator behind the Leafs bench.
The Marlies are in Manitoba this weekend for a back-to-back set with the Moose.

Jay Rosehill was not at practice Thursday and it seems conceivable he may have been sent to the Marlies for Gunnarson or on a conditioning stint.
Rosehill has been a healthy scratch the last nine games and hasn't played since October 17th versus the Rangers.
