A man has been taken to hospital with minor injuries after being rescued from a sinkhole in North York.
A large crowd of emergency crews was seen rescuing the man at Tamworth Rd. and Ellerslie Ave. around 4pm Thursday.
After being removed, the man was treated by paramedics and taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
It’s not yet known how the man fell into the sinkhole and became trapped in the first place.
Southbound Tamworth Rd. remains closed at Ellerslie Ave. for safety reasons regarding the sinkhole.
