68-year-old Allan Stokell applied for a job at UPS and was told he would need to shave his beard for the job. He has had his neatly trimmed beard for 40 years. He explained, “I don’t believe large multi-national corporations should be able to get away with this […] I identify as being a bearded person” (Toronto Star).
