The province’s youngest member of the legislature has officially been sworn in.
19-year-old Sam Oosterhoff was elected in a byelection Nov. 17, in the riding of Niagara West-Glanbrook.
That seat was previously held by Tim Hudak. The former PC leader stepped down from the position to take on a new role with the Ontario Real Estate Association.
Oosterhoff’s swearing-in was delayed from earlier in the week to accommodate his family and friends who travelled in for the event.
