The TTC has launched a new online store featuring a range of transit-themed merchandise.
In a statement, the TTC says this is another step in the commission’s modernization to help meet growing customer demand.
The shop aims to promote the TTC as an integral part of Toronto, and follows suit to many other transit systems worldwide offering branded merchandise.
Some of the items include mugs, phone cases, shower curtains and “fashionable wearables” like shirts, socks and baby onesies.
They were made with a focus on being nationally or locally produced.
The TTC says it assumes no financial risk or cost for establishing the venture.
Toronto-based SVS Marketing will manage the inventory and fulfill orders with no up-front costs to the TTC.
