Toronto police have released security footage in hopes of identifying and locating a sexual assault suspect.
An 18-year-old woman was sexually assaulted by an armed man in the Gerrard St. W. and Yonge St. area around 4:20 a.m. on Saturday, November 5th.
The male suspect is described as in his early 20’s, approximately 6 ft. tall with an olive complexion and a skinny build.
At the time of the incident he was wearing a purple tracksuit, black hooded jacket, dark baseball hat with a light-coloured brim, and black shoes.
He was armed with a firearm and forcibly removed the woman’s belongings following the assault, before fleeing the area on Gerrard St. W.
Tuesday, Toronto police released security footage of the male suspect, who can be seen walking around inside a building.
Police warn the public not to approach the man, who is believed to be violent and dangerous.
