A nurse has been charged following an accusation he sexually assaulted a patient in his care at a Mississauga hospital.
The assault allegedly occurred on Nov. 20 at Trillium Health Partners, according to Peel police.
Ian Angelo De Jesus Jacobe, an employee of the facility, was arrested on Nov. 24 and charged with sexual assault.
The 31-year-old Mississauga man is scheduled to appear in court in Brampton on Dec. 12.
Police say the investigation is ongoing and they are urging anyone who believes they may have had contact with the accused to come forward.
