The 104th Grey Cup will feature the Calgary Stampeders versus the Ottawa Redblacks and it will be played at BMO Field in Toronto for the first time ever.
Ottawa is on their way to the championship game for the second time in as many seasons since they entered the league in 2014. The Redblacks fell short to the Edmonton Eskimos in last year’s Grey Cup by a score of 26-20.
The team managed to get into the finals this year after finishing with a regular season record of 8 wins, 9 losses with 1 tie and the Stampeders, who are considered to be the favourite, finished the regular season with a record of 15 wins, 2 losses and 1 tie.
The majority of the fans are expected to be coming in from Ottawa, considering that Toronto is just a 4-and-a-half-hour drive away.
CFL officials have announced that One Republic will be the headline of the WIND Mobile Halftime Show.
In the meantime, the CFL Grey Cup Festival is taking place in the south building of the Metro Convention Centre on Saturday, November 26th from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m.
The 104th Grey Cup is presented by Shaw and it will be played on Sunday, November 27th at 6:30 p.m. ET at BMO Field in Toronto.
