Durham regional police have identified the suspect in a stabbing outside of an Oshawa high school on Thursday.
Randy Chessman, 21, is wanted for aggravated assault with a weapon, and possession of a dangerous weapon.
The suspect is described as a white male approximately 5’10” with a medium build.
Around 11 a.m. on Thursday November 24th, officers responded to an armed person call at Monsignor Paul Dwyer Catholic High School on Rossland Road East. Upon arrival officers found a teen male victim with a wound in his side. He was transported to hospital with injuries that were considered minor.
According to police, eyewitness accounts say a blue van pulled into the driveway of the school just west off of Stevenson Road North, and drove along side the victim before attacking.
