Toronto police are investigating the theft of artwork from the home of a now-deceased collector.
According to police, several paintings were stolen from a home in the area of Bay and Bloor Sts., early in the morning on Oct. 16. The 79-year-old owner had recently died, shortly after he had been admitted to hospital.
Police say the artwork cannot be replaced and is worth around $50,000.
