Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Toronto and most of the GTA, includuing Brampton, Mississauga, Burlington and Oakville.
The agency says intermittent light freezing rain is possible overnight on Wednesday night and into Thursday morning.
”It is possible that some locales could experience several hours of freezing rain. However, temperatures are forecast to be just below the freezing mark, so treated surfaces should remain ice free.”
Drivers are being asked to adjust their driving with changing road conditions as untreated surfaces such as roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery.
