Over 7,000 Power Stream customers were left in the dark in Markham on Sunday morning.
Crews were dispatched after broken tree limbs had fallen onto power lines cutting electricity for roughly 14,000 homes at one point.
The affected area ranges from Highway 7 to Highway 407 along Markham Road.
According to officials, power was fully restored to thousands of customers shortly after 3:30 p.m.

Meantime, Hydro One is also reporting more than 8,000 customers are without power across the province due to high winds in a number of areas.
