Lawyers representing former and current employees of the Goodlife gym are seeking $60 million in damages for alleged unpaid labour.
The statement of claim alleges that the company regularly made personal trainers work extra hours to meet sales quotas and their required duties without properly compensating them for their time. Those affected potentially include thousands of trainers who worked at Goodlife Fitness Centres locations in Ontario since October 2014.
