Toronto Police have arrested a man in a series of arson investigations in Scarborough’s Wexford Park area.
On Saturday, November 12, officers responded to a call for a fire in the Pharmacy Drive and Craigton Avenue area.
According to police, a man was seen setting fires in two garbage bins at the rear of two buildings.
The man fled the scene, jumping fences at the rear of the properties.
A short time later officers responded to another fire call in Wexford Park and a man was seen running from the area.
Officers conducted a thorough search of the area and a man was arrested a short distance away.
Justin Krane, 29, of Toronto has been charged with arson causing damage to property, possession of incendiary material and possession of restricted or prohibited weapons.
He was scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall on Sunday.
