GO train service along a portion of the Lakeshore East line has been disrupted after a pedestrian was struck and killed on the line in Scarborough.
The person was struck by a VIA train near Rouge Hill GO station at around 8.30.p.m.
As a result, GO Transit says trains will be operating between Union and Guildwood stations, while shuttle buses are in operation between Guildwood and Pickering stations.
Trains will operate between Pickering and Oshawa stations as normal.
The disruption is predicted to last for two hours.
