The FBI Director reviewing newly discovered emails involving Hillary Clinton, says the review has ended and she should not face charges.
In a letter to Congress Sunday, James Comey writes the bureau has not changed its conclusion from earlier this summer.
Teams worked around the clock to review the latest emails discovered on a device during an unrelated investigation.
“During that process, we reviewed all of the communications that were to or from Hillary Clinton while she was secretary of state,” he says.
“I am very grateful to the professionals at the FBI for doing an extraordinary amount of high-quality work in a short period of time.”
The news comes just days before the U.S. Presidential Election on Tuesday.
