Thousands of protesters marched through downtown Toronto Saturday in opposition of the Dakota Access Pipeline.
A speaker at Queen’s Park around 4pm urged Justin Trudeau to keep his word, getting a large applause from the crowd.

The march towards the U.S. Consulate saw many people carrying protest signs and chanting “water is life”.
Global’s Antony Robart posted video footage on Twitter, saying the peaceful protest saw people of all ages and backgrounds.
Demonstrators arrived at Toronto City Hall around 5pm.
