The movie-watching experience is changing in Canada, and it comes at a cost.
Cineplex has announced the country’s first 4DX auditorium will open its doors Friday, at the Yonge-Dundas location, and that it will screen Marvel’s Doctor Strange in the new format, to start.
So what can movie goers expect?
The auditorium features 80 specially designed motion seats, which are further enhanced with special effects such as wind, mist, scents and snow, which are all synchronized with what is happening on the screen.
Adult admission cost is $24.99 for 3D, or $21.99 when presented in 2D.
