A tampering incident at a southern Ontario winery has led to the disposal a quarter of a million litres of product.
Ontario Provincial Police are investigating the incident in which someone deliberately tampered with holding tanks at Pelee Island Winery in Kingsville.
The tanks, containing 250,000 litres of both red and white varieties, we’re ruined overnight on October 30th.
Police have not said who was involved in the tampering or exactly what was done to the wine.
The Pelee Island Winery has not returned requests for comment.
