Three teens were injured, two seriously after being struck by a vehicle in the Don Mills area.
According to police, the children, two boys and girl aged 13 and 14 were struck in the area of Don Mills Road and Lawrence Avenue area around 8.30.p.m., Monday night.
Authorities said a Honda CRV traveling westbound on Lawrence at a high rate of speed struck another vehicle from behind, which in turn rear-ended another car.
A boy and a girl who are twins suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries and were transported to hospital via emergency run.
The driver of the Honda was charged with criminal negligence causing bodily harm as well as dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
He’s been identified as 44 year old Yung Cheung Chow of Markham.
Chow will make a court appearance December 15 at 1:30 p.m.
