Bill 47, known as the Protecting Rewards Points Act, would amend the Consumer Protection Act to ban the expiration dates for loyalty points.
Arthur Potts, Liberal MPP for Beaches-East York, tabled Bill 47 earlier this month and passed second reading at Queens Park last Thursday.
Air Miles collectors were told to use their miles before they lose them on December 31, 2016.
