Commuters looking to take the TTC this weekend will have to plan ahead as another subway closure is in effect.
There will be no service on Line 1 Yonge-University between St. George and Lawrence West stations on Saturday and Sunday.
The TTC says workers will be in place for signal upgrades in the area.
All trains on the Yonge-University line will turn back southbound at St. George Station and northbound at Lawrence West Station.
Shuttle buses are operating between the two stations, however, they will not be stopping at the Eglinton West Station. Commuters will instead be dropped off at the intersection of Bathurst St. and Eglinton Ave. W.
Wheel-Trans buses are also operating on request.
Customers are advised to bring tokens, tickets or cash in case shuttle vehicles are not yet equipped with PRESTO.
Parking has been restricted on portions of Bloor St., Bathurst St. and Spadina Rd. to help provide faster service.
