Ontario Provincial Police will be texting 7,500 people today for information of the unsolved homicide of Frederick John Hatch.
Hatch’s partially burned body was discovered by a motorist near Erin, Ontario on December 17th, 2015.
The selected 7,500 numbers were obtained from a cell tower near the area where Hatch was last seen.
The texts will prompt people to voluntarily answer questions online.
