A bank robbery last month in the Sheppard Avenue East and Victoria Park area has police looking for a male suspect, and a surveillance image has been released with the hopes someone is able to identify the man.
On the afternoon of Tuesday September 13, a man walked into a bank, and when he approached the teller, it’s alleged he asked for cash and stated he had a gun in his pocket, although no weapon was seen.
The teller handed over an unknown amount of cash and the man ran out of the branch.
He’s been described as mid to late 40s, 5’8″-5’10”, with long brown hair and a beard. He was wearing a black baseball hat with white writing and a black and white jacket.
