Toronto police are investigating two separate shootings in the city’s west end on Thursday night.
A man in his 40’s has suffered life threatening injuries following a shooting in a building in the Scarlett Road and Braeburn Avenue area of Etobicoke.
It happened shortly after 9.p.m and the victim has been transported to hospital via emergency run.
Meanwhile, also in Etobicoke, a second man has been injured following a shooting in a park in the area of Dixon Road and Wincott Drive.
The extent of the victim’s injuries are not yet known with one man seen fleeing the area.
The circumstances surrounding both incidents remain unclear and no suspect information has yet been provided by police.
