The Toronto Blue Jays have been eliminated from the 2016 Major League Baseball playoffs after losing 3-0 in Game 5 of the ALCS to the Cleveland Indians.
Toronto had managed to reach the American League Championship Series for the second straight season, but they were ousted by Cleveland, who are now going to the World Series for the first time since 1997.
Relief pitcher Andrew Miller of the Indians won the MVP of the ALCS.
This will also be the first time in Indians history that the team has opened the World Series on their home field.
Cleveland was one win away from winning the 1997 World Series, but lost the series 4-3 to the Florida Marlins.
The Indians will now wait and see who they play between the Chicago Cubs and Los Angeles Dodgers who are currently playing the in the NLCS.
