The Law Society Tribunal has temporarily suspended the licence of a Toronto lawyer accused of sexual assault.
32 year old Lawyer Francois Lesieur is facing four counts of sexual assault pertaining to incidents in which he allegedly assaulted a 14, 15 and 16 year old girl in public places including a subway station and food court.
Lesiuer is not allowed to practice law until he has a chance to respond to a motion brought forward Tuesday morning by the Law Society of Upper Canada.
The assaults happened between September 12th and the 16th near Yonge and Eglinton, and police believe the girls were targeted. One of the girls was assaulted twice in a span of five days.
Toronto police say images from surveillance video and tips from the public helped them track down Lesieur.
