The man accused of throwing a beer can onto the field at Rogers Centre during the Toronto Blue Jays’ Wild Card game against the Baltimore Orioles is no longer an employee of Post Media.
A spokesperson for Post Media confirmed on Monday that Pagan had left the company but the circumstances surrounding his departure have not been made clear.
The 41 year old, who worked as a sports copy editor in Hamilton, was charged with one count of mischief earlier this month after surrendering to Police.
His surrender followed a manhunt on social media and the release of a suspect photo by police.
The can was tossed from the stands as Orioles outfielder Hyun Soo Kim was attempting to make a catch during the seventh inning of the wild card game played on October 4th.
Pagan is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 24.
