A gas leak in the downtown core on Saturday afternoon had the area surrounding Yonge and Richmond Streets closed off for a portion of the day.
Toronto Police say that pedestrian and vehicle traffic was affected with road closures between Victoria, Adelaide, Bay and Queen Streets for several hours.
There were also a number of reports of people smelling gas, but there were no injuries reported.
A command centre was set up at Yonge and Temperance Streets for officers from 52 Division at the time of the incident.
