Toronto police are still looking for a couple of suspects after a shooting in Scarborough put four schools in hold and secure, Tuesday afternoon.
Police were called out to a sounds of gunfire call near Finch and Midland just after 1:00 P.M.
Officers arriving on scene found empty shell casings.
Witnesses say two individuals were seen fleeing towards a school in the area.
Police took no chances and issued hold and secure protocol for Francis Liebermann, Monsignor Frasier, Albert Campbell, & Henry Kelsey schools.
One person was injured in the incident and suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Finch Avenue was closed for further investigation near Midland Avenue.
Hold and secure was subsequently lifted about two hours later.
