More Torontonians are feeling the love for the head of the city.
The most recent Forum Research poll finds 72% approve of the job John Tory has been doing.
This represents an increase of 5% from the last poll, which was done mid-August.
And approval for the Police Chief remains high.
About 66% of Toronto residents support Mark Saunders, which mimics August results, but it remains nearly 20% higher than his 48% approval rating posted in May.
“Mayor Tory has recovered ground he briefly lost, and this may be due to his strong stance on the city budget. Chief Saunders continues to test his highest approval limits, well up from the beginning of the year, when he was still an unknown to most voters.” – Forum Research President, Dr. Lorne Bozinoff.
