Two teenagers are facing charges in connection with the stabbing death of another teen in Scarborough on Friday.
Toronto police were called to Scarborough Rapid Transit Station, at 290 Borough Drive at around 9.20 on Friday night following reports of a stabbing.
Investigators say there had been an altercation between two groups of people at the station and that when police arrived on scene, they found a 15 year old boy suffering from a stab wound.
The victim, who was identified as Kareem Deerr of Toronto, was transported to hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
In a news release issued on Thursday night, Toronto police confirmed that two teenagers had been arrested in connection with the killing.
18 year old Desmond Lincoln Williams of Toronto has now been charged with second degree murder, while a 14 year old boy who cannot be named under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, is charged with manslaughter.
Both are scheduled to appear in court on Friday morning.
