Hundreds of rail commuters in New Jersey had to catch their breath on Thursday morning as a New Jersey Transit Train crashed into Hoboken station.
Authorities have confirmed at least 1 death with dozens injured.

The train was coming in from New York and smashed into the station during the peak of the morning rush hour.
Witnesses say there were multiple injuries, some of them serious. Including one account of a woman trapped under concrete.

Photos on social media show what appears to be a partial roof collapse at the station, with twisted metal and debris strewn over the station platform.
The train was coming from Spring Valley on the Pascack Valley line and crashed around 8:45 A.M.
Hoboken is about 10 kilometres outside of New York City.
Federal Railroad Administration have dispatched investigators to the scene.
Passengers heading to New York City transfer from New Jersey Transit trains at Hoboken to board other trains and ferries to get into Manhattan.
