Parents are being reminded to keep an extra close eye on their kids when using the park or other public spaces, after an incident Sunday afternoon.
Police say prescription pills were left on top of a playground slide in Bellevue Square Park, in the Kensington Market area.
A 15 month old boy found one of the pills and put it into his mouth.
His mother was able to remove it, but not before some of it had dissolved.
The boy was rushed to hospital for treatment, and he will okay.
More of the same pills were scattered around the park, and police say at this time, they are not able to say for sure if this was intentional.
