A 51-year-old man from Toronto is now facing 15 charges, including attempted murder following a shooting in the Annex.
The incident took place around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 20th outside of a lawyer’s office on Bedford Road at Prince Arthur Avenue near Bloor Street West and Avenue Road.
According to investigators, Grayson Delong is now charged with attempted murder, disguise with intent and 13 firearms-related charges after the shooting outside of J. Randall Barrs office.
The Special Investigations Unit has been called in to the investigation and they have indicated that Halton Regional Police officers were conducting surveillance in the area at the time of the incident.
Apparently, one of the officers shot the suspect shortly after 66-year-old, J. Randall Barrs was hit by gunfire.
Investigators say that both the suspect and the victim suffered gunshot wounds and they are now recovering in hospital.
