A suspect in a recent bank robbery remains on the loose and police are turning to the public for help locating a suspect.
Just after noon on Friday August 26, a man walked into a bank in the Bloor Street West and Bedford Avenue area, just west of Avenue Road.
It’s alleged he approached a teller and made a demand for a specific amount of money, then asked for more, and even went to the bank manager’s office to demand cash.
He fled after receiving an unknown amount.
The suspect has been described as white, late 30s to early 40s, about 5’10”, with a tattoo sleeve on his left arm. He was wearing a black H VOL–ALLMAX t-shirt, with a black New York Yankees cap, and carrying a black knapsack trimmed in white piping.
