Toronto police have closed a part of Simcoe Street downtown after reports of glass coming off a building.
A pane of glass fell from the 30th floor balcony around 8 Wednesday morning.
The glass did not hit anyone and landed on a sidewalk.
A shard of glass is still hanging from the balcony and as a result police have blocked off a stretch of Simcoe St. between Adelaide and Nelson.
It’s not clear how long the closure will last.
