Toronto police say a man who was shot in Liberty Village on the weekend has died of his injuries.
The case has now been turned over to the Homicide Unit.
The man has been identified as 26 year old Kiesingar Gunn of Toronto. Police say he was shot in the head outside a Forty2, a club in the Mowat Avenue and Liberty Street area around 4 a.m., Sunday.
Police do not believe he was the intended target of the shooting.
Investigators are appealing for any witnesses to come forward. Anyone who owns a business or residence in the area with security video that may have captured video of the event are also asked to contact the Homicide Squad.
