Public consultations begin today with regards to the Special Investigations Unit.
Justice Michael H. Tulloch, who was recently appointed by the province to independently review police oversight bodies, will also analyse the Office of the Independent Police Review Director, as well as the Ontario Civilian Police Commission.
The review has a mandate to make recommendations on ways to enhance oversight accountability and transparency.
The consultations will be held throughout the province, with the first three in Toronto, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
