York police have charged A 34-year-old man in connection with a double stabbing in Aurora.
On Saturday, September 10, 2016, shortly after 9 a.m., police were called to a residence on Briardale Place, which is in the area of Yonge Street and Henderson Drive for a report that someone had been stabbed.
When officers arrived they located two 16-year-old boys suffering from injuries.
They were both taken to hospital suffering from life-threatening injuries but are both now in stable condition.
The investigation has revealed that the male suspect broke into the residence and a struggle ensued.
The suspect was identified and arrested in the Coburg area with the assistance of the OPP.
Christopher Barry from the Town of Aurora is charged with 2 counts of attempt murder and break and enter.
He was scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Newmarket on Monday, September 12, 2016.
The investigation is ongoing and police are appealing to anyone that may have witnessed any suspicious activity in this neighbourhood to please contact investigators.
