A couple of stabbings at opposite ends of the city have Toronto police trying to piece together what happened in the altercations.
The first was a skirmish at a home in Scarborough just before midnight on Adams Drive West of Kingston and Galloway Roads.
A 27-year-old man was stabbed in the back and sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries.
A woman was arrested on scene and is facing charges.
The second stabbing happened on Lakeshore Boulevard West near Islington Avenue, just after 3:30 A.M.
When Toronto EMS arrived, they say the found a woman with slash wounds to her face. The injuries were non-life threatening.
Police have made no arrests, so far.
