A woman in her 30’s is dead after trying to jump between two sections of the 401 west, late Friday night.
Paramedics arrived on scene after 10:00 P.M. and say she fell more than 150 feet on to the nearby Don Valley Golf course at Highway 401 just west of Yonge Street.
The woman, a tow truck driver, was trying to jump over a guard rail to get from the collectors to the express, where there was a disabled vehicle.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
