One person has been transported to hospital suffering from minor injuries following a shooting in Brampton on Wednesday afternoon.
It happened in the Queen Street and Bramalea Road area at around 4 p.m. with the male victim suffering a graze injury in the attack.
Police are now looking for a male suspect, described as black and approximately 20 years old.
He was last seen wearing black clothing and had his face covered.
They say he may be in the company of a woman described as South Asian, wearing all black clothing also.
Investigators say this was an isolated incident and the investigation will be taken over by the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau.
