Caroline Budd of Ottawa has been sentenced to two years in federal prison after using two girls who were 16 at the time as sex slaves, keeping them in her basement. Budd is 22 but has the emotional age of 13 due to her mental health issues.
The victims gave horrifying accounts, testifying that they were repeatedly raped by Budd and her boyfriend Anthony Comunale. One said that she screamed in pain while the couple laughed.
