Pirate Joe’s brings Canadians a taste of American grocery store Trader Joe’s, and it’s bought to you by Michael Hallatt of Vancouver, BC. He brings the items from across the border and sells them for a profit in Canada, where Trader Joe’s does not operate. Now, a U.S. Court of Appeals has revived a 2013 lawsuit against him.
Is this guy breaking the law? Or if it bought the items, are they his to do as he pleases?
