A Toronto man has been arrested for officiating at weddings across the province without the proper license to do so.
It’s unknown how many weddings The 69 year old is accused of performing at but they allegedly happened over a three year period, from August 2013 to this past July.
Investigators allege Paul Cogan, also used the name Paul Martin.
He has been charged with solemnizing a marriage without authority, fraud under $5,000, forgery, personation with intent, and uttering a forged document.
Police say there could be more victims and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
