Toronto police are investigating after a shooting in Rexdale sent one to hospital with non life threatening injuries.
Investigators were called to the area of Highway 401 and Albion Road shortly before 2.a.m on Monday morning, following reports of gunfire heard in the area.
It’s reported that two men were in an SUV on Armel Court when someone opened fire on the vehicle.
The driver of the SUV, who was unharmed, left the scene, coming to a stop on nearby Byng Avenue.
The passengers suffered a gun shot wound to the foot and was taken to hospital for treatment.
No arrests have yet been made in connection with the investigation.
