Three people are dead, all of whom were found with apparent crossbow injuries, in the Scarborough area on Thursday afternoon.
Toronto police said the bodies of two men and a woman were found in a garage. Two people were found with no vital signs, and one person died after officers arrived.
Police said a crossbow was found on the floor of the garage.
“We don’t have any idea with regards to why this may have happened,” said Hopkinson.
With current regulations, a crossbow can be purchased by anyone over the age of 18, but you do not need to have a permit or license to own and operate one. They are sold at hobby stores, hunting stores, and even larger shops, such as Canadian Tire and Walmart.
Should crossbows be regulated the same way that guns are?
