A man shot and killed in a downtown condo parking lot Sunday afternoon was the intended target, that from Toronto police who continue to investigate the city’s 44th murder of the year.
Officers were originally called out to 954 King Street West for what appeared to be a crash involving a motorcycle, but once they arrived, they found a man in medical distress with several gunshot wounds. A motorcycle was found nearby.
The victim, who has been identified as 33 year old John Ignagni of Toronto, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are looking to speak with a person of interest seen leaving the area on a bike, wearing a dark-colored bike helmet.
The garage was reopened Monday morning, after a BMW and Porsche were towed as part of the investigation.
